This place has beautiful nature and picturesque landscapes. In summer, when all the vegetation and grass is burned, dying on the coast, the temperature in Limassol rises to +35 +40 degrees C and there is nowhere to hide from the sun heat the temperature in Platres is 10-15 degrees lower than on the coast. Everywhere in Platres, you can smell the scent of pine needles and wood. Thanks to the pine forests, the climate of this place is therapeutic, soft and perfectly suitable for all people, especially those with lung, neurotic, hypertonic diseases, as well as for elderly people and children. The temperature in that location varies from -5degrees C in winter and up to +28 C in summers. Everyone can enjoy enchanting views of the slopes of the surrounding mountains and the blue sea. When winter comes, it often snows in this region. Platres has a modern, well-developed infrastructure with restaurants, cosy family hotels, highway roads in the Troodos Mountains.
